CPA Licensing Requirements in Wyoming


For Candidates in Wyoming who have Passed the Uniform CPA Exam

CPA licensure in Wyoming requires one year of public accounting work experience supervised and verified by an active CPA.

Ethics Exam Requirement

Candidates must complete the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) Ethics Examination with a passing grade of 90 or better. The online exam is focused on the AICPA Code of Conduct.

License Fee Requirements

There is a $200 initial license fee plus $25 for a certificate wall document.

Annual renewal is based on a January to December calendar.

CPA Continuing Professional Education Requirements

Licensed CPAs are required to rake 120 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) courses every three years (40 hours a year is recommended).

Many CPE courses are offered by the Wyoming Society of CPAs.
